Landlords

Let Only
Our Let-only service is for landlords who wish to administer their rent and deal with the repairs and maintenance themselves. We charge a one-off payment at the start of each tenancy and there are no hidden extras for inventories or check outs.
Worcester City Lettings assists landlords by finding suitable referenced tenants that have been referred by the council’s Housing and Welfare Options team and can provide a written bond agreement equal to five weeks rent (cashless deposit) to tenants. We will market your property following our initial visit, arrange viewings, find a suitable tenant for your property and run a tenant and referencing check. We would carry out the tenancy sign ups, prepare an inventory and complete a check out inspection. All of this is for £250 per tenancy.
Managed Let
Our managed service includes everything we offer as part of ‘Let only’, rent collection and repair reporting service. We also have access to council approved contractors who can carry out any repairs, with your prior approval, should you so wish. With our managed option we’ll carry out thorough property inspections, taking photographs at every visit to create an in-depth inspection report and an accurate record of your property’s condition.
This managed let service is available for a one-off payment of £250 at the start of the tenancy and 8% of rent per calendar month.

Leased
Private Sector Leasing is a good option for landlords who would like to lease their property directly to Worcester City Lettings. We will look after your property and hand it back to you at the end of the lease in the same condition.
With our leased service you are guaranteed rent which is less than market rates but you will have no void periods.
Bolt-on
We can provide additional bolt-on services charged at the request of landlords for example arranging and carrying out the annual gas safety check. Contact the team to discuss what bolt-on services we currently offer.

What our landlords say
Having attempted a self-managed let I was totally disillusioned; problems with the maintenance of the flat, demands from the tenants, and a mountain of paperwork were taking up a lot of my time and my patience was at breaking point. Now my rental income remains stable as any issues with tenants’ Housing Benefit are quickly resolved and vacant periods are minimal.
Right through from advice on the location of properties that I am interested in to the final interview and completion of leases, I have always found City Life lettings to be extremely helpful. I would thoroughly recommend anyone interested in renting out a property to talk to the department.
Your agency provided a choice of tenants and I was able to select the ones that I felt happy to work with. It has given me the security that I will receive my rent regularly and on time.
